Massify is looking for a marketer to handle our online marketing activities, building demand for a diverse set of products across two target markets. The right guy or gal will be highly analytical, responsible for day-to-day execution of ad placements across online marketing channels including search engines, blogs, and social networks. You will have primary ownership of A/B and multivariate testing of different messages, keywords, and landing pages, as well as providing key input into relevant creative development. You`ll be deep in the optimization of CPC, CPM, and CPA campaigns across these media, placing, changing, and terminating different campaigns on a real-time basis to generate measurable returns. We`re looking for someone with 3-5 years of relevant experience who`s eager to jump in to a well-funded startup and ready make an impact right away.
Specific responsibilities:
* Creating, executing, and managing paid search campaigns across multiple properties including Google, MSN, Yahoo from selection of search terms, to developing copy, to measuring results
* Creating and optimizing SEO-friendly content to improve organic search results through white hat methods
* Staying up-to-date on new trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, and other online marketing tactics
* Identifying and exploring further online channels to drive demand generation (e.g. email)
* Helping to optimize customer retention through targeted email programs
Skills and background:
A highly technical, skilled, and motivated online marketing professional with 3-5 years of hands-on experience optimizing online marketing activities such as paid search, white hat SEO, social advertising, display advertising, and other online lead generation channels such as email
* At least 3 years of experience developing and executing paid search and SEO campaigns
* Knowledge of and ability to recommend and implement usage of web analytic and bid tools like Omniture, Webtrends, Core Metrics
* Demonstrated ability to use Google Analytics and Excel to extract actionable insights
* Deep understanding of working with Google ranking algorithms
* Facility with using key website metrics (CPM, CTR, CPA, CPC, etc) to understand and optimize business economics
* Experience developing search friendly content
* Facility with key statistical techniques and methods such as linear regression, binomial regression, A/B testing, and multivariate methods such as CHAID and ANOVA
* BS/BA (preferably technical) from a top university with at least 3-5 years of tactical and technical online marketing experience
